About The Position

Obsessed Media is an independent media group focused on helping our clients dramatically improve the impact of their media through smarter plans, sharper strategy, creativity, and measurable results. We’re looking for a Media Supervisor who’s ready to dive into the details, learn fast, and help us keep raising the bar. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll be the point person on assigned accounts, coordinating across internal and external partners, keeping projects on track, and making sure our recommendations are backed by insight and executed flawlessly. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,000/year to $100,000/year.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of media planning and/or buying experience, with proven success managing campaigns from brief to wrap.
  • A quick mover who enjoys learning new skills (and putting them to work fast)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days (or clients) are exactly alike.
  • Willing to try new things, venture into new territories, make smart mistakes, and figure it out better the next time.
  • Creative collaborator who looks for the interesting route and isn't shy about pitching it.
  • Strong communicator who can lead internal, vendor, and client discussions with clarity and confidence.
  • Exceptional at keeping multiple projects organized and moving forward under tight timelines.
  • A little too obsessed with media
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and unafraid to take ownership of results.
  • Reads job descriptions carefully enough to sport errors

Responsibilities

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables — ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with creative agencies, media vendors, analytics teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor live campaigns for pacing, performance, and placement accuracy, flagging issues early and driving solutions.
  • Own post-campaign analysis to surface insights and opportunities for future work.
  • Serve as the day-to-day lead for client communication, ensuring expectations are clear and consistently met.
  • Translate client goals into actionable plans, connecting strategy with execution.
  • Bring forward proactive recommendations — from new media opportunities to optimizations and test ideas.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of each client’s category, competition, and consumer behavior to inform decisions.
  • Build and present media plans and POVs that align with business objectives and budget realities.
  • Use syndicated research, competitive intel, and vendor input to identify the best opportunities for impact.
  • Maintain productive relationships with media partners to stay ahead of trends and opportunities.
  • Support new business efforts by contributing planning expertise and campaign ideas.
