In this position... The Media Team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Media Specialist (GSR) to provide essential assistance in key operational areas. This role will primarily support our T1 (national) media planner, but its contributions will extend to improving performance and processes across all Ford business units, including Ford Blue, Model e, Integrated Services, and Ford Pro. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our media planning and execution

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Some prior experience in media, advertising, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong collaborative spirit and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • A keen interest in staying up-to-date on key media trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within the industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic implementation of media plans through a systematic TV scheduling process, ensuring optimal reach, efficiency, and alignment with overall brand and business objectives.
  • Oversee financial stewardship of media investments, including the strategic allocation of budgets, performance analysis against key partners and commitments, and proactive identification of flexible spending opportunities to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with our agency partners on "test and learn" initiatives, ensuring ongoing tests are effectively scaled and shared across the broader media and business teams.
  • Contribute to the optimization of media performance and operational processes across various business units.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional team collaboration to achieve media objectives.
