The Media Specialist will be part of a team that consistently seeks out new and innovative media partner solutions to propel the brand forward. The Media Specialist will work closely with others in the Marketing team to create national campaigns across the funnel. The ideal candidate will be a relationship builder who has a deep passion for the media industry. This role is a key player within the organization to drive our campaigns, but is also externally facing to our media partners.

  • Responsible for the development of innovative media plans and tactics within the highly competitive insurance category.
  • Constantly monitoring the media landscape and excited to test new opportunities to drive the brand forward.
  • Provide guidance on audience and data strategies to leverage in programmatic campaigns.
  • Evaluate performance and create recommendations focused on DSP selection.
  • Provide insight and context on re-marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Think critically about media proposals and align media plans to campaign strategies.
  • Understand media marketplace trends and how to capitalize on them.
  • Drive media negotiations directly or via marketing agencies.
  • Brief media agencies on campaign goals, objectives and media parameters.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of work experience in media planning/strategy/execution.
  • Network, agency, media publisher or large brand experience preferred.
  • Experience in programmatic media planning or execution and leveraging media measurement tools/software.
  • Strong written, presentation and analytical skills preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Potential starting salary range: $78,081.25 - $99,540.63.
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary.
