The Compliance Section strives to create relevant reports and data accessibility resources to ensure Command and Borough/Bureau level compliance as it pertains to body-worn camera use. The Compliance Section – Body Worn Camera Unit seeks a qualified Media Service Technician, Level I to: - Review body-worn camera videos to assist in ensuring NYPD compliance with processes and procedures and all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and policies. - Performs video duplication, redaction, and editing for confidentiality in press releases and for training purposes. - Conducts routine monitoring of the Video Management Systems to ensure procedural compliance. - Conducts research for video files for comparative statistics and analyses. - Facilitates the viewing of body-worn camera footage for Plaintiff Counsel Review sessions.
