About The Position

We’re looking for an ambitious candidate to work in DSPolitical’s Media Planning team for the 2026 Election Cycle! As a Media Planning Associate, you will support the creation and execution of digital paid media plans across programmatic platforms and social channels. This role is focused on developing core media planning skills and contributing to campaign delivery. Who Are We? Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in politics, public affairs, or a related environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver digital media plans aligned with client goals, strategies, and budgets.
  • Create strategic audience profiles using polling, research, and historical data.
  • Make preliminary recommendations on budget allocations across platforms and formats.
  • Conduct campaign performance meta-analysis to improve assumptions and refine planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stay informed of industry trends.
  • Assist with administrative reporting, documentation, and timelines.
  • Submit expense reports and timesheets on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
