Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the online advertising space.
  • Exposure to media and advertising technology platforms (DSPs).
  • Foundational understanding of how media platforms inform and support media planning.
  • Flexible, versatile, and motivated to develop new skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with media planning tools preferred but not required.
  • Ability to interpret data insights and trends to inform and drive future media strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages strategic media plans across search, display, video, and/or paid social channels, including both time-bound and always-on campaigns.
  • Collaborates within cross-functional teams to develop, revise, and manage the cross-channel funnel strategy as it relates to media and associated audience journeys.
  • Partners closely with stakeholders to understand goals and objectives and determine the optimal media mix to achieve those outcomes.
  • Develops targetable audience strategies across media channels and platforms based on defined audience segments.
  • Invests in continuous skill development through self-paced training and regular use of media planning tools.
  • Stays current with the evolving media and data privacy landscape and collaborates to identify solutions to disruptions.
  • Maintains a holistic tactical media and audience plan, establishes channel-level budgets and forecast projections, and works with Media Ops and/or agency partners as needed.
  • Works with audience strategists and media leads to maintain targeting documentation and develops detailed, channel‑specific media plans to enable seamless execution by Media Ops or agency partners.
  • Partners with Media Ops/agency partners, Analytics, and User Experience teams to set goals, forecast ROI, and ensure proper audience taxonomy architecture.
  • Provides guidance on creative asset needs for media campaigns, communicating required formats and variations for each channel or tactic.
  • Presents recommended media plans to stakeholders to gain approval and facilitates cross‑channel communication to minimize audience overlap internally and externally.
  • Interprets performance reporting from Media Ops/agency partners and Analytics teams and provides clear, actionable summaries for stakeholders, identifying trends and opportunities for future strategies.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and integrated marketing to ensure alignment on deliverables and timing for media launches.
  • Effectively prioritizes workload and maintains a strong project management process to meet deadlines and team SLAs.
