We are currently seeking a Media Ops Administrator to join our Media Operations & Engineering team based in our Bethpage , NY office.

  • Create, assess, release work orders, and schedule work orders (as needed).
  • Track the status of incoming media from both external vendors and internal teams.
  • Facilitate QC analysis clarifications to the requesting internal and external partners.
  • Providing complementary documents and media references available for QC as needed (like scc files for upload, timing sheets for segmentation, acquired series episode summaries and episode order information, pointers to previously delivered reference files.)
  • Liaise with our third party Closed Captioning vendors to ensure all closed captioning files are ordered, received, and processed in a timely manner.
  • College Degree preferred; focus on Broadcasting, English/Communication
  • 2-4 years of experience in Broadcasting or related functions; experience with broadcast scheduling or media acquisition is preferred.
  • Operational knowledge of asset management platforms: Evertz Mediator, Media Pulse, Wide Orbit Program, and File-Maker.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word and Excel.
  • Solid understanding of QC workflows.
  • Knowledge of operational workflows and stakeholders involved.
  • Solid understanding of billing/invoice elements and requirements.
  • Solid knowledge of multi-shift scheduling.
  • Background in administrative tasks.
  • Prior experience at a media network or in broadcasting preferred.
