About The Position

Infosys is seeking Media Domain Consultant. This position will interface with key stakeholders and your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX OR be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• On Site work in a 24x7 support team across USA, Mexico and India, working in shifts.

Nice To Haves

• At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java API development along with Data Processing, Transformation and Performance & Scalability.
• API integration with security and Messaging Queues.
• Experience with Git/Gitlab, CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/Oracle/MySQL/MSSQL.
• Knowledge of Python Scripting, Cloud Computing, AWS/GCP.
• Knowledge of Troubleshooting and Agile Methodology.
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global Delivery Environment.
• Knowledge and Experience of implementing automations resulting in effort reduction.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and demonstrate technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Create high level design artifacts and deliver high quality code deliverables for a module.
• Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
• Handle alerts, incident management, and service ownership for Broadcast Satellite Environment.
• Monitor the Control of the Broadcast environment for Satellite and OTT Content delivery.
• Manage and implement Change activities, including Pre and post validations.
• Create and manage documentation, SOP/MOP, and Issue history in ITSM Tool (ex: Service Now).
• Manage outage of services and resolution.
• Bridge management and internal/external/vendor stakeholders for issue resolution.
