About The Position
The Department of Media Arts at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty position (#156170) at the rank of lecturer. This is a one-year temporary appointment. The contract may be renewed annually based on available funding, demonstrated need, and satisfactory performance as assessed by annual evaluations. The start date for the appointment is August 1, 2025. The successful candidate is expected to teach various aspects of the video and film industry such as preproduction, production, post-production, aesthetics, history, theory and technology using current production tools, techniques and technology.
