About The Position

Medfinancial is a fast-growing company that provides excellent customer service to our healthcare clients and their patients who are seeking to resolve their healthcare obligations. You will work with patients, hospitals, physician groups and will acquire a lot of great experience in customer service, financial counseling, and healthcare collections. A Financial Advocate provides excellent customer service to the hospital’s clients and to borrowers.

Requirements

• Must work onsite at our office in Knoxville, TN.
• High School Diploma required (Associates Degree Preferred).
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Excellent oral, grammatical, written, and multi-tasking skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual agents are needed.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills with an attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in various computer systems simultaneously.
• Positive attitude, work ethic, and professionalism.
• Schedule adherence.

Responsibilities

• Counseling patients on their healthcare invoices for collection purposes.
• Answering inbound calls.
• Completing manual outbound calls.
• Working on outbound auto dialers.
• Additional duties as assigned to meet our company objectives of customer service in a patient centric manner.
• Meet or exceed Quality Assurance standards on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
