About The Position

Aspirus MedEvac has a variety of REGISTERED NURSE positions that may currently be available or available in the near future. As a REGISTERED NURSE with Aspirus MedEvac, you are responsible for providing safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients of all ages. Care is provided in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports by understanding and applying the specialized principles and techniques of transport practice, emergency procedures, and diagnostics.

Requirements

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a nursing program.
• Active Wisconsin RN license.
• Must obtain Michigan RN license within 90 days of hire.
• Active or eligible for a Michigan EMS license - EMT minimum, paramedic preferred.
• Must obtain Michigan EMS license within 120 days of hire.
• ACLS required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the State of residency.
• Current BLS or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• PALS, NRP, CEVO or other driving course.
• TNCC or other trauma course.
• NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients.
• Apply specialized principles and techniques of transport practice.
• Perform emergency procedures and diagnostics.
