About The Position
The Medication Technician provides medication assistance and personal care to the residents of the community, following the guidelines provided by Park Avenue Lifestyle. The position supports the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting the company culture and vision. The technician is responsible for completing documentation per Park Avenue standards to ensure that all care services are provided and that resident needs are met. They participate in narcotic counts, administer medications, maintain cleanliness of the medication room, and ensure timely communication with pharmacies and families regarding medication orders. The role also includes monitoring residents' vital signs, addressing concerns, and participating in community wellness programs.
