About The Position

The Med Tech position at Aspen Creek Senior Living is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional personal care services and daily supervision to residents in assisted living and memory care settings. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy multitasking and building meaningful relationships with residents. The Med Tech will be responsible for observing and assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), ensuring their health and safety, and promoting their overall well-being in a respectful and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months previous work experience in a geriatric environment preferred.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
• Clear and unexpired Health and Welfare and Idaho State Police background check required.
• Current CPR/First Aid and Food & Safety Handlers certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; bilingual skills are a plus.

• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour supervision and personal care to assisted living and memory care residents.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including mobility, dining, hygiene, and housekeeping.
• Participate in planning, preparation, and clean-up of resident activities and special community events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, co-workers, and management personnel.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws, rules, and regulations regarding resident care.
• Display a positive attitude and team spirit while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
