Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and kind with a heart for working with senior adults.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Good organizational abilities and communication skills.
• Independent, energetic, creative, and have a pleasant approach.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
• Communicate with other healthcare staff and department personnel; relay information concerning residents' conditions; maintain written records and documentation as required.
• Maintain communication with residents, their families, and support personnel to ensure that residents' needs are continually met.
• Assist residents with the administration of medications according to company protocol and state regulations.
• Maintain records (MARs/TARs) for each resident regarding medicines ordered, received, and administered.
