As a Medication Technician (Med Tech) at Autumn Villa Assisted Living, you will play a crucial role in providing care to our residents. This part-time position is primarily for the second shift, which includes rotating weekends and holidays. You will be responsible for administering medications to residents, ensuring that they receive their prescribed treatments in a timely and safe manner. In addition to medication administration, you will occasionally assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitor vital signs. Your role will also involve reporting lab results to physicians, coordinating physician appointments, and arranging transportation for residents as needed. We are looking for energetic, reliable, and compassionate team players who are committed to providing high-quality care. You will be expected to take charge of the shift, working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all residents receive the best possible care. A valid Med Tech license from the Rhode Island Department of Health is required for this position.
