Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR Certification.
• Med-Tech certificate.
• Experience or knowledge working with the elderly and those living with dementia/Alzheimer's Disease.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents following individual service plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Encourage residents to maintain independence in their care.
• Serve meals to residents and assist in meal preparation as needed.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits and overall health to supervisors.
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities for residents.
• Maintain daily records related to medication distribution and residents' conditions.
• Assist residents with medication procedures and self-administration.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and resident requests for assistance.
• Encourage socialization and participation in planned activities among residents.
