About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including those with a wide range of medical conditions and those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, is proficient in interpreting cardiac rhythms, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They must be compassionate and committed to providing excellent patient care.

Requirements

Active RN license in Ohio.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting.
COVID vaccine and recent TB test are required.

Responsibilities

Perform and document patient assessments, including vital signs and cardiac rhythm analysis.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and interpret EKG readings, identifying and responding to changes in cardiac status.
Manage patient care plans, including wound care, post-operative care, and chronic disease management.
Educate patients and their families on their conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
