About The Position
We are seeking experienced Med-Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week contract assignment in a hospital acute care setting. This role is ideal for nurses comfortable managing diverse medical conditions, post-surgical patients, and telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced environment. Local and travel RNs are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN license required
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Med-Surg and/or Telemetry experience required
- Experience in acute care hospital setting required
- Strong clinical assessment and prioritization skills
- BLS (required)
- ACLS required
- Telemetry competency required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
- Interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure adherence to hospital safety and quality standards
