About The Position
We are seeking experienced Med-Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute care hospital setting. This role is ideal for nurses comfortable managing diverse medical-surgical patients and continuous cardiac monitoring in a fast-paced environment. Local and travel RNs are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN license required
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Med-Surg and/or Telemetry experience required
- Acute care hospital experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and prioritization skills
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- Telemetry competency required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med-Surg and Telemetry patients
- Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
- Interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in condition
- Administer IV medications and treatments per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure adherence to hospital safety and quality standards
