About The Position

We are seeking experienced Med-Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute care hospital setting. This role is ideal for nurses comfortable managing step-down and progressive care patients requiring close cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring. Local and travel RNs are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Active RN license (state or compact as applicable)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Med-Surg, Telemetry, or PCU experience required
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and titratable drips required
• Acute care hospital experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and prioritization skills
• BLS required
• ACLS required

Nice To Haves

• PCCN preferred (not required unless facility mandates it)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg, Telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding promptly to clinical changes
• Administer IV medications and perform titration of cardiac drips as indicated
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Supervise nursing assistants and support staff as needed
