Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Nebraska RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, empathy, and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using the nursing process
- Provide hands-on care, including medication administration, IV therapy, hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and other treatments
- Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed
- Educate and support patients and significant others (SO) throughout hospitalization and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams during rounds and treatment planning
- Document care accurately through written and electronic records
- Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to team members based on patient needs and shift demands
