Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (acute care preferred; LTAC considered).
• Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days if compact).
• Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire).
• BSN degree.
• Experience in medical-surgical or orthopedic nursing.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive patient data to guide individualized care plans.
• Perform clinical assessments and manage patient treatment autonomously.
• Advocate for patients as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care needs.
• Implement care plans and monitor patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Ensure patient safety and proper utilization of time, equipment, and supplies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality, efficient care.
