This is a most urgent opportunity within a progressive, financially stable hospital system for nurses with recent acute care Med-Surg experience. POSITION OVERVIEW The Med-Surg Oncology RN provides patient-centered nursing care to oncology and medical-surgical patients. This role includes assessment, care planning, treatment implementation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. SCHEDULE • Days or nights available with rotating weekends • 12-hour shifts • Days 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • Nights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM COMPENSATION • Hourly rate $26.40 to $36.30, up to $39.60 with 18+ years of experience • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 days / $15,000 nights • Night differential $3.00/hr • Weekend differential $2.00/hr WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY • MOST URGENT opening • Oncology and Med-Surg patient population • Stable hospital system with strong support • 12-hour shift flexibility • Opportunity to grow within acute care nursing
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience
- Registered Nurse license in Florida or ability to obtain prior to start
- Basic Life Support required
- ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts with rotating weekends
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills required

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatments, and follow-up care
- Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
