About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical-Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent day-shift opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The Med-Surg Neuro RN provides high-quality nursing care to adult patients recovering from neurological and medical conditions in a patient-centered care environment. This role requires strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to manage patient care autonomously while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the position you are applying for.
Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required.
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to start.
NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment start date.

BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Collect comprehensive data related to the patient’s health status and clinical condition.
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses and patient care needs.
Identify expected outcomes for individualized care plans.
Act as an advocate for patient safety.
Deliver efficient, effective care while utilizing time, supplies, and equipment appropriately.
Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
