About The Position

The Medical Laboratory Scientist at Montgomery Cancer Center is responsible for providing timely and courteous laboratory services, including the collection, testing, and analysis of biochemical and hematological specimens. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and efficient laboratory operations, contributing to the overall patient care experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science.
• National certification as defined by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
• One year experience in a medical laboratory setting preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform collections, testing, and laboratory analyses of biochemical and hematological specimens accurately and efficiently.
• Provide timely and courteous service to patients, providers, and staff.
• Communicate effectively with individuals from various backgrounds throughout the organization.
• Ensure a positive customer service experience for guests, visitors, and patients.
