About The Position
The Med Lab Assistant Lead provides administrative and technical support to Medical Laboratory Assistants within the clinical laboratory. Responsible for the accurate receipt, accessioning, and distribution of specimens to internal and external laboratory departments. Prepares and loads samples for analysis and performs equipment maintenance and troubleshooting on designated instruments.
Requirements
- High School Graduate: 1-2 years post high school, vocational or college level preparation is strongly recommended.
- Two years of recent hospital-based laboratory experience required.
