About The Position

The Med Info Spec Pharmacist II role at Thermo Fisher Scientific is a hybrid position focused on delivering high-quality medical and scientific writing within the pharmacy medical information sector. The role is based in Wilmington, NC or Morrisville, NC, and involves working closely with internal and external clients to ensure effective communication and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD with previous medical writing experience in Medical Information content (comparable to 3+ years).
• Experience in independently researching, writing, and editing standard medical information writing deliverables across various therapeutic areas.
• Experience in writing more complex medical writing deliverables, including global or regional standard response documents, custom responses, and FAQs.
• Active NC pharmacist license.

Nice To Haves

• Additional qualifications in medical writing (AMWA; EMWA; RAC) advantageous, but not required.
• Experience working in the pharmaceutical/CRO industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical and scientific writing from planning and coordination of literature search through delivery of final drafts to internal and external clients.
• Effectively manage pharmacy medical information writing projects to deliver quality products within agreed timelines, demonstrating subject matter and therapeutic area expertise.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients to support and enable effective and efficient communication leading to operational excellence.
• Independently research, write, and edit standard pharmacy medical information writing deliverables across various therapeutic areas.
• Interact with internal and external personnel on significant matters requiring coordination between functional areas.
