About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician II assists the pharmacist in providing optimal pharmaceutical care to the patient. This position involves effectively performing the activities and duties associated with the Pharmacy Technician II role. The technician is expected to maintain competency and is scheduled to work regularly in more advanced Pharmacy Technician roles, which include Quality Improvement, Education/Training, Inventory Management, and Research. Additionally, the technician serves as a lead technician or super user in pharmacy operations, technology implementations, and quality projects.
