About The Position

Under broad policies established by the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center (KCPC) and its Medical Director, provides the full scope of primary care services which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance to KCPC patients. In addition, a Medical Clinic Physician is a member of the KCPC Medical team. In that capacity they are expected to collaborate with other primary care doctors, psychiatrists and mental health, CD, DID, and dual diagnosis professionals to develop programs and policies that improve the quality of the facility’s services; and efficiently utilizes available resources to maximize administration of quality care within budgetary constraints. Within the bounds of their respective job descriptions, all staff are expected to exercise principle-centered leadership, focused on customer service responsiveness, with a continuous quality improvement orientation. Additionally, all staff are expected to develop a working knowledge of and follow all policies and procedures related to safety Time Type: Part time Seven Counties is the provider of choice for mental and behavior health services in and around the Louisville Metro. Responsibilities
