We are searching for an experienced Medical Assistant or CNA for the Wound Care Center. Current certification as CNA or Medical Assistant is required.

Requirements

• Equal to completion of four years of high school or equivalent is required.
• Must have successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant/Aide program.
• BLS certification is required.
• Prior experience with an electronic medical record and/or health-related computer software is preferred.
• Customer service experience or training preferred.
• A minimum of one (1) year work experience in healthcare setting or related medical office or clinic practice is preferred.
• Fluency in a language other than English is preferred.
• National third-party certification is required for medical assistants within 13 months of hire.
• Current certification in one of the following: Nursing Assistant/Aide or Medical Assistant.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with an electronic medical record and/or health-related computer software.
• Customer service experience or training.
• Fluency in a language other than English.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinic duties related to providing assistance to nursing staff in carrying out wound care treatments.
• Assist with medical office tasks related to ongoing department functions.
