About The Position
CountryHouse in Kearney, NE is hiring! We're currently looking for a Part-Time Med Aide-Evenings who is passionate about helping others and providing the best possible care. Work 2-3 days a week and every other weekend. 40-Hour CMA license required. - $1/hr shift differential. - 2 PM-10 PM hours. $18.50-$20.50 an hour. Requirements
- Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent, depending on state requirements).
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in serving older adults.
- Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely administer medications according to the physician's orders and residents’ care plans.
- Accurately document medication administration and maintain records in our system.
- Observe residents for any changes in condition, side effects, or concerns, and promptly report to nursing staff.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, providing compassion and dignity in every interaction.
- Build meaningful connections with residents, families, and your fellow team members.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive community environment where everyone feels valued.
