About The Position

OBJECTIVE: Provide support for creating and maintaining deployment packages using MECM/SCCM concepts. Assist with building and monitoring deployment packages for OS Upgrades, device drivers, and software installations, patches, and upgrades under the guidance of senior engineers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist in fulfilling requests for creation and deployment of desktop software packages and managing scheduled software patching and updates 2. Support patching, application developing, and as required architect and design within MECM/SCCM 3. Utilize deployment techniques, advertisements and software center restricted and public application publishing 4. Leverage MECM/SCCM to provide security updates, cumulative rollups, hotfixes, and other updates as necessary to end user workstations 5. Help maintain existing packages and add new packages as required in support of a large government customer base 6. Troubleshoot failed MECM/SCCM deployments and MECM/SCCM health issues 7. Troubleshoot unhealthy MECM/SCCM clients 8. Ability to create and edit scripts in PowerShell, restrict features, and improve security 9. Support the deployment of security updates/configurations, supporting Windows desktop images, and day to day support for the enterprise. Third party and custom application support is also necessary, including utilization of other endpoint management tools 10. Collaborate with systems engineers on security updates, vulnerability patches, hotfixes and other updates or scripts to provide workarounds of fixes to user workstations and servers as required 11. Communicates effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences (both contractor and federal government employees) 12. Establish and maintain strong relationship with government customer 13. Contribute to the development of documentation, SOPs, reports, and presentation slide decks 14. PowerShell Scripting Experience Preferred 15. Education: Associates or Experience Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience or academic background (Help Desk/Site Technician) Licenses: None Certifications: Any IT Certifications will be considered REQUIRED: No clearance requirement but the contract and/or the site requires US Citizenship to be approved for access. (includes NACI / T1, MRPT, CAC): Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
