About The Position

Abacus Technology is seeking a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Administrator to provide technical support for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC). This is a full-time position.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience providing MECM support for a medium-to-large Enterprise organization including support for multiple PCs and servers running Windows-based operating systems.
  • Must hold one of the following certifications: Microsoft Technology Specialist (MTS) or Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
  • technical direction for enterprise level programs.
  • Proficient in administering and deploying System Center Configuration Manager and planning/deploying Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and its associated site systems.
  • Strong understanding of Windows-based operating systems, system deployment, and configuration management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Able to communicate with management, technical staff, and end users in a clear and professional manner.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing Apple devices within MECM or other enterprise management platforms desired.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain the MECM infrastructure, including site servers and distribution points.
  • Plan, configure, and implement MECM site systems, distribution points, and management points to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient operation.
  • Manage operating system deployment (OSD), software distribution, and patch management processes using MECM.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and documentation to streamline configuration and deployment processes.
  • Configure and enforce security and compliance settings to ensure all devices meet organizational standards.
  • Resolve issues related to the MECM system, client endpoints, and application deployments.
  • Monitor the health of the MECM system and endpoint devices, and generate reports on system performance and compliance.
  • Work with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and successful rollouts.
