Role As a Mechatronics Lab Engineer on the robotics manipulation R&D team, you will be the primary owner of the physical health and operational readiness of our cutting-edge robotic workcells. You will lead the mechanical design, assembly, and electrical wiring of these cells, ensuring they are optimized for AI-based research. This is a highly interdisciplinary role requiring a blend of traditional mechanical engineering, electrical troubleshooting, and software integration. You will be responsible for the entire maintenance lifecycle of a workcell—from initial build and sensor integration to debugging electrical circuits and making small modifications to Python scripts to support new experiments.
