About The Position

The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program at CBRE offers a comprehensive paid training opportunity in the Maintenance Technical field. Participants will gain valuable skills through a combination of classroom instruction and on-the-job learning, preparing them for careers as Maintenance or Controls Technicians with a leading global retailer.

Requirements

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to attend a 12-week in-person paid training at a designated training provider.
• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
