About The Position

We’re looking for hands-on Mechanical Technicians to support a large-scale equipment move and rebuild project. This role focuses on the teardown, relocation, and reassembly of industrial production equipment, working closely with engineering and operations to bring systems back online. If you enjoy working with complex machinery, solving problems on the floor, and being part of a fast-moving, high-impact project, this is a great opportunity.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipment
Experience with equipment teardown, rebuild, or installation
Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
Comfortable using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment

Nice To Haves

Technical training or certification in Mechanical Technology or similar
Experience with automated or semi-automated equipment
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or basic electrical systems
Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments

Responsibilities

Disassemble and prepare production equipment for relocation
Reassemble mechanical systems, ensuring proper alignment, torque, and fit to spec
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly diagrams, and work instructions
Inspect components for wear, damage, or defects during teardown and rebuild
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches)
Support equipment bring-up, testing, and validation after reinstallation
Troubleshoot mechanical issues during reassembly and startup
Follow all LOTO and safety procedures at all times
Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S)
Document work completed, parts replaced, and any issues identified
Partner with engineers, maintenance, and production teams to meet tight timelines
