About The Position

This position is responsible for a developed ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical systems in all areas of the brewery. This role is for 2nd shift Monday - Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM. All hours worked between 6:00PM and 6:00AM receive an additional $6.00/hour differential. Get paid up to $34.50/hour. Essential Duties: • Performing the required maintenance on specific pieces of equipment • Lead efforts to maintain specific pieces of equipment and identify critical spare parts • Safely lock out all brewery equipment as required • Communicate and acquire downtime for maintenance • Assists with making annual maintenance budgets for specific areas • Develops maintenance requirements and training checklists • Other Duties as assigned Education/ Experience/Skills: • High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience or equivalent training and experience. • Ability to train and mentor less experienced technicians • Ability to be part of on-call mechanical program • Developed mechanical working knowledge, skills, and abilities • Developed knowledge of brewing, production process • Developed knowledge of chemical handling and abilities • Developed knowledge with scheduling maintenance outages • Solid electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, welding abilities • Solid experience with Lathes, Drill press, and other specialized mechanical tools • Solid understanding of engineering concepts in sanitary applications • Solid ability to read, interpret and deliver, instructions, policies and regulations • Solid understanding of reading and interpreting P&ID’s • Solid understanding of reading and interpreting construction drawings • Confined space trained and certified • LOTO trained and certified • Osha 10 hour trained and certified • Osha 30 hour trained and certified Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 80lbs., and carry objects weighing up to 47lbs up to 100 feet • Ability to push/ pull weights up to 75lbs. and maintain a grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and boxes • Must show fine motor dexterity • Ability to climb stairs, stoop, crawl, twist, squat and reach overhead. • Requires frequent, constant standing and walking Percent of Travel: 0% -10% Working Conditions: Distribution center, production areas, Construction areas and Process wastewater facility.
