About The Position
As a JSL Technician you will perform Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE), Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and Civil Engineering End Items (CEEI) mechanical and electrical system maintenance checks. There are over 600 pieces of CESE and MHE in the inventory. JSL Engineering Technicians operate Government owned Material Handling Equipment (MHE), up to and including 53 Ton Rough Terrain Forklifts during the maintenance cycle. A Virginia Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus. JSL Engineering Technicians assist in supporting the Navy Expeditionary Forces collateral equipment program and create a CB 60 form for each USN numbered CESE assigned to NAVELSG in accordance with the COMNECC/COMNECCPACINST 4590.1 series.
