Our success depends on people who are committed to our purpose and have an appetite for progress. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be part of our Production—Technical Services Department. The position will be based in Aurora, Colorado. Important note: Our Factory in Aurora, Colorado, will operate 24/7, and this role includes Rotating Shifts.

  • Maintain and improve the technical conditions of production equipment to achieve production and quality requirements, respecting health, safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Perform mechanical maintenance (preventive / planned / subassembly repairs) in compliance with relevant procedures to ensure production equipment availability.
  • Participate in installation and production equipment modification, following the change management procedure, to ensure equipment availability on time.
  • Maintain technical documentation updated to ensure information accuracy; prepare and update, whenever necessary, standards-setting and troubleshooting lists of machines/processes and inform all the people involved.
  • Monitor shift results through the analysis of production and quality data.
  • Support & Coach Manufacturing teams to fix complex breakdown.
  • Anticipate/Identify problems that arise during the production process and take appropriate measures to ensure the continuity of the production process and improve the efficiency of equipment, in adherence with OPEN+ pillars & system.
  • Contribute to multifunctional troubleshooting for critical process failure.
  • Ensure maintenance instruments/tools are in good condition and used properly.
  • Standardize and align machine settings with the kits and spare parts defined to reduce their consumption.
  • Using SAP Materials Management module to identify store spare parts availability.
  • Promote and apply all PMI Quality, environment, health, and safety rules.
  • Report all situations requiring actions to minimize or eliminate risks of exposure to personnel, company assets, and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards.
  • Ensure integral conformity with relevant legislation, internal policies, and procedures and achieve the objectives established during the annual performance evaluation process.
  • Technical College degree or University degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment as a Mechanical Technician.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a team structure.
  • Build constructive relationships with team members and management.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English (verbal & written).
