About The Position

• Begin to assemble manufactured and purchased components to meet the specifications as indicated by assembly drawings. Assemblies may include complex arrangements and may require fitting and adjustment to meet close tolerances. • Using the design package and customer specifications for reference; helps assemble systems and sub-assemblies • Verify the components are correct in the build • Helps build electro-mechanical devises • Correct handling of the materials used for the build • Report any issues regarding workmanship or design to the Manufacturing Manager • Participate in tear down and shipping of the equipment. • Communicate and be a channel for any constructive or objective ideas that arise, helping to keep the manufacturing standards up-to-date and at the highest level. Use the team as a pool of technical knowledge, solving problems together efficiently • Ensure that all print updates are being completed and that rework is properly recorded. • Installation of custom assemblies on customer floor; may be required for scheduled or unscheduled onsite customer service on evenings or weekends

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and multimeters
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be capable of working in a team environment and be able to maintain a positive attitude and consistent contribution to the projects assigned
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to cross international border (Passport required)
  • US Citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and machine tools (Knee Mill, Surface Grinder, Lathe)
  • High mechanical aptitude and be familiar with measurement tools
