The Mechanical Technician monitors and maintains all production equipment on the production floor. This role is responsible for the mechanical maintenance requirements for high-speed filling, packaging, equipment component preparation, and compounding. The technician performs troubleshooting of high-performance production equipment and evaluates critical spare parts. They maintain equipment logs and documentation in accordance with SOP, cGMP, and all updated guidelines. The technician completes necessary corrective and preventive work orders, as well as assigned training, OEM, and outside contractors. They perform all set-ups and changeovers and/or repairs of equipment as necessary per production needs and schedules. The technician works closely and collaboratively with Operations and engineering personnel to meet all production objectives and site goals/KPIs.
