About the position

Bring your experience as a mechanic with a high degree of Bell knowledge from maintaining Bell's aircraft (helicopters) for an operator or at a Bell Service Center. You'll have experience maintaining but not limited to the following systems: hydraulics, fuel system, powertrain, rotating controls, powerplant systems, and avionics/electrical systems. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and fellow instructors. This role is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare classroom for each class and deliver the presentation of the course materials to the customers.
  • Maintain the Bell Training Academy shop areas in a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Develop and deliver specialized courses for customers, develop a rapport with the customer base to include US based and international customers.
  • Work with the Training Support Development team to update courseware or build courseware as needed.
  • Travel required to present aircraft courses both in the US and Internationally.

Requirements

  • Must possess an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
  • At least 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting on Bell products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a Major in any Aeronautical/Engineering/Manufacturing related field, but not required (High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience may be considered equivalent).
