About The Position

Can you keep complex machinery alive under pressure? Picture this: a conveyor is backing up, a crane needs attention, and a hydraulic circuit is behaving erratically. You triage, diagnose, and fix—safely and efficiently—so production never misses a beat. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, this role is for you. Your mission Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair plant mechanical assets: hydraulic and pneumatic systems, lubrication networks, power transmission components, conveyors, cranes, and mobile equipment. Operate and work with specialized tools and mobile equipment, including pendant and overhead cranes and forklifts. Support operations when needed to sustain continuous production. Tackle tasks independently with minimal supervision or collaborate with fellow maintenance technicians, depending on scope. Work safely at heights and, when required, in confined spaces. Move across multiple plant areas and conditions—hot, cold, wet, greasy, dirty, and noisy—while maintaining a strong safety mindset.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing/industrial experience (or equivalent education); military experience considered.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Availability for 8‑hour rotating shifts—Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays included—and readiness for overtime when needed.
  • Flawless adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements: hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and metatarsal‑protective boots.
  • Dependability, consistent attendance, and self‑direction to drive work to completion.
  • Ability to pass required assessment test(s).

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to any of the following is valuable: hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, welding, pipefitting, structural repair, diesel mechanic.
