As a Mechanical Systems Construction Administration Specialist at Swanson Rink, you will be an essential part of our mechanical design team, contributing to the successful execution of complex projects for high-profile clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in a collaborative process, working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Senior Engineers to ensure that projects are constructed according to design specifications. Your involvement will span various exciting and fast-paced projects, allowing you to apply your expertise in mechanical and plumbing design while addressing the unique needs of our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and closing out all construction-related submittals and requests for information (RFIs). You will act as a liaison between contractors and the design team during the construction administration phase, addressing questions regarding design and field conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing contractor RFIs and submittals related to mechanical and plumbing design elements, ensuring compliance with design standards. You will also conduct site visits to observe work progress, issue reports, and participate in commissioning planning as needed. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff in construction administration best practices, fostering strong team relationships and contributing to process improvements.
