About The Position

Step Into the Build: A Day in This Role You arrive at a clean, modern shop, grab the day’s prints, and map out your build. You’ll cut, drill, and shape metal and plastics, then bring everything together into a complete mechanical system. Plastic piping panels you assemble slot into place, fasteners tighten, and hand and power tools help you finish with precision. Before you sign off, you verify operation, button up the details, and leave your station organized for the next run. That’s a typical day building essential industrial systems alongside a tight-knit team. What You’ll Build and Do Translate technical drawings and specifications into complete mechanical assemblies Perform shop-floor fabrication: cutting, drilling, and shaping both metal and plastic components Construct and integrate plastic piping panels used within our system designs Work confidently with hand and power tools to achieve accurate, efficient builds Functionally check and validate completed systems prior to release Keep your workbench and surrounding area clean, orderly, and safe What You Bring High school diploma or GED 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints Comfort using standard shop tools (drills, saws, wrenches, sockets, etc.) Accurate tape measure/ruler reading and strong shop math Comfort standing and moving throughout the shift Willingness to work overtime and some Saturdays as needed Bonus experience (not required): background in water or wastewater systems. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints
  • Comfort using standard shop tools (drills, saws, wrenches, sockets, etc.)
  • Accurate tape measure/ruler reading and strong shop math
  • Comfort standing and moving throughout the shift
  • Willingness to work overtime and some Saturdays as needed
