About The Position

Join a leading energy technology company developing cutting-edge clean-water cooling systems for high-voltage electrical components. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical System Design Engineer to be part of a small, expert design team driving innovative system solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in pipe or system design for industrial processes (cooling, water treatment, wastewater, biogas, ships, oil & gas, or nuclear)
• Strong skills in system dimensioning, flow/pressure calculations, P&ID development, and component selection
• Practical understanding of manufacturing and installation processes
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and curious, with excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Responsibilities

• Design and dimension complete cooling systems based on customer specifications and internal technical requirements
• Perform pressure drop, system volume, and expansion tank calculations to ensure reliable operation
• Create flow diagrams and P&IDs that meet technical and customer requirements
• Select and specify major components including pumps, coolers, and motors
• Enter approved components into SAP and maintain accurate project documentation
• Take ownership of projects independently or collaborate closely with colleagues
• Work with internal teams and international customers to ensure project success
