The Mechanical Superintendent actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values,” representing the Company at all times with high moral standards and adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” This role involves planning and supervising work activities, determining construction methods, safety procedures, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, and work schedules, while also documenting actual hours worked. The Superintendent oversees the precision of all rotating and static equipment and coordinates assigned work with various crafts, company departments, and other contractors. They maintain liaison with the safety department, engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with safety policies, drawings, specifications, and schedules. Responsibilities also include assisting in resolving construction problems and safety issues, conducting accident investigations, and communicating with the HR Department for manpower requisition. The Superintendent monitors craft compliance with project safety program requirements, documents and ensures corrective measures are implemented, and maintains liaison with other departments (Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering) to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support craft activities and the project schedule. They conduct field safety audits as required and maintain a complete understanding of the Corporate Safety Manual and requirements, performing additional responsibilities as directed.
