About The Position

Mechanical Site Supervisor - Data Centers Europe Application Deadline: 22 April 2026 Department: Contracts Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Belgium Reporting To: Operations Manager Description Team Overview: Within one of these Business Units, Alternative Heat deliver turnkey plantroom packages at scale, directly to hyperscale developers throughout Europe, under long-term framework agreements. This Business Unit is scaling at pace, and we have secured a 5-year framework agreement to design, manufacture and deliver volume based, turnkey plantroom modules (mechanical, electrical and BMS) to projects throughout Europe, with demand set to increase annually. Role Overview: To manage the delivery and set down of a range of M&E Packaged Plantrooms across our multiple Datacentre projects throughout Europe. The Mechanical Supervisor would work in conjunction with an Electrical Supervisor and together this Management Team will direct, and lead Client appointed M&E teams in the set down and reconnection of modularised Package Plantrooms. These plantrooms will be fully fabricated and built at our impressive offsite facilities in Banbridge, then separated and broken down for delivery to various sites throughout Europe. The Mechanical Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a mechanical team in the reconnection/testing and commissioning of all mechanical systems within each packaged plantroom, while updating key stakeholders both onsite and at our Head Office. The position is a full-time site-based role. Rotating throughout Europe depending on locality of Plantroom Deliveries. It would be fair to assume that each Management team (Mech/Elec) will spend approx. 5-7 months in one location throughout Europe before on to the next location. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing client-appointed delivery teams to ensure plantrooms are delivered, installed, and reconnected in line with programme requirements and technical standards.
  • The role involves supervising installations to meet AH guidelines, enforcing correct sequencing, and carrying out quality and technical checks to ensure compliance.
  • It includes attending site meetings, verifying drawing revisions, maintaining quality and HSEQ standards, and providing regular progress updates and reports.
  • Additional duties involve coordinating installation programmes, monitoring labour performance, ensuring correct mechanical connections and pressure testing, completing documentation such as SAT and O&M manuals, and collaborating with wider MEP teams and contractors to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
