About The Position

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting as a maintenance technician preferred.
  • Preferred maintenance background to include hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, machining, welding, electrical , water systems and print reading with service history.
  • Emphasis on pumps, motors, valves, plumbing, chillers, controls, components, and electronic devices to support Mechanical Rooms.
  • Knowledgeable with the use of computers (MS Office Suite), CMMS Software, 5S and Lean methodology preferred.
  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work 8-hour shift M-F

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Mechanical Room functions, controls and HMI interface.
  • PM & maintain water treatment systems.
  • Capable of troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment such as chillers, pumps, valves, electrical components, and other facility structures to support the operation of the facility and production process.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical controls and equipment ranging from 24Vdc-480VAC.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on Mechanical Room equipment according to prescribed schedules and procedures.
  • Provide technical support in and on injection molding machines, auxiliary components, chiller functions, water systems, nitrogen systems, and safety controls to support production.
  • Provide leadership and training to technical associates within the facility when necessary.
  • Able to assist the department in developing improvement projects in support of a more predictive and preventative maintenance team.
  • Capable of performing welding, small fabrication, and designs to correct root cause failures when needed or assigned to drive downtime to acceptable levels.
  • Ability to read schematics, electrical schematics and troubleshoot equipment performance.
  • Able to work in a team setting, self-motivated, productive without direct supervision.
