About The Position
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized and award-winning professional services consulting firm, is seeking a full-time Mechanical Project Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical expertise and leadership to our mechanical project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various mechanical engineering projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role involves attending client meetings to discuss project requirements and progress, as well as performing construction phase services to ensure that projects are executed according to specifications. Additionally, the Mechanical Project Engineer will mentor less experienced staff, fostering their professional development and enhancing the overall capabilities of the team. In this role, you will also assist with business development efforts, helping to identify new opportunities and expand our client base. Given the nature of our projects, travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required, making flexibility and adaptability essential traits for the ideal candidate. We are looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also possesses strong communication and organizational skills, allowing them to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
